Branson didn’t become one of the must visit holiday destinations by accident. There is so much to do that it is sure to get everyone into the spirit. Here are some great events that are going to leave you with lasting memories.
Hosted by the Branson Landing and sponsored by Summer Winds Resorts/Chick-fil-A, the inaugural Festival of Trees will help support Christian Action Ministries. Taking place November 4 - 10, individuals can purchase their trees and wreaths for their homes while also helping a great cause.
One of the Nation’s biggest Christmas destinations is back and better than ever. With over 6.5 million lights, 1,000 decorated trees, live shows and even a parade, it is hard to beat Silver Dollar City for the holidays. Experience the magic November 4 - December 30.
Did you know that Branson is America’s “Christmas Tree City”? Home of the largest and most varied collection of beautiful, unique and amazing Christmas trees in the nation is right here! Take a tour around town and check out everything from traditional evergreens, to trees made of lights and even library books.
No holiday is complete without a visit from Santa. The jolly gift giver will be making several appearances in Branson this year.
Ever wanted to have breakfast with the big man himself? The Branson RecPlex is making that possible. On Saturday, December 9 there will be three morning sessions to have the most important meal of the day with Santa. All children will receive a gift from Santa.
Not only to you get the chance to watch the classic holiday movie “The Polar Express” while sipping hot cocoa, but there is a very special guest onboard. Santa joins in this Branson train ride and provides a special gift for each child.
Come by Santa’s workshop located at Santa Claus Lane inside Silver Dollar City. He is ready to hear all of your Christmas wishes. Santa and his elves will be in town from November 4 – December 23.
Santa arrives at the Branson Landing on November 4. The “Most Wonderful Time of Year” parade will deliver St. Nick to the town square. He will be in his Christmas Tree house through December 24, stop by get your keepsake photo.
Finally, complete your Branson holiday visit with one of the area’s many light displays.
Ozark Mountain Christmas Lights & Village
A Branson attraction for over 20 years, this mile long lights trail is located just off of Highway 248. “Roll your windows down, turn up the hearter and blast some Christmas music” as you enjoy one of Branson’s favorite holiday venues.
Open November 1 through January 1, the over-one-mile-long trail is equipped with new scenes for 2017 that are “Bigger, Better and Brighter.” You are encouraged to listen to the Christmas story on your radio while it synchronizes with the illuminated Nativity scene.
Silver Dollar City was called a “Don’t Miss, Top 5 Spot to Light Up the Holidays” by Good Morning America. With over 6.5 million lights throughout the park it is one of the best Christmas destinations in the country.
