There are several fun and exciting things to do in Branson during the holiday season. From visiting Santa at several locations to checking out “An Old Time Christmas” at Silver Dollar City, it’s such a magical time of year in the Ozarks. While there are plenty of shows and attractions to see, holiday shopping should never be neglected while in Branson. Whether it is weeks in advance or last minute, here are the places to make sure you get the best gifts for all the loved ones on your Christmas list.

Branson Landing

This waterfront boardwalk of almost 100 stores, restaurants and attractions is a great spot to accomplish all your holiday shopping. Anchored by Belk on the north end and Bass Pro Shops on the south end, the Landing is open daily to thousands of eager shoppers with great stores to look through such as Kirkland’s, Victoria’s Secret and Famous Footwear. Business hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. It will also be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve for last minute shoppers.

Branson Mill Craft Village

For those looking to give unique, handcrafted gifts this holiday season, look no further than the Branson Mill Craft Village. Located on Gretna Road next to the Coleman Factory Outlet, the Craft Village is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. A majority of the shops inside include handmade items, and some of the more popular ones include A Cut of Glass, Bear Creek Productions, Country Crafts and All Things Christmas.

Grand Village Shops

The Grand Village Shops on Highway 76 are great for holiday shopping considering it is home to Missouri’s largest Christmas store. Kringles Christmas Shop is open year-round, and features 9,000 square feet of Christmas decorations and collectibles. While this is the largest store at Grand Village, others include Back in Time Toys, Dickens Gift Shoppe, and T. Charleston’s Books and Gifts. Shopping hours vary by store at Grand Village, but most are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The Shoppes at Branson Meadows

Another shopping center located on Gretna Road, the Shoppes at Branson Meadows has a number of different stores to shop through. Open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays, Branson Meadows includes popular stores such as V.F. Factory Outlet, Neill’s Homestore and Kitchen Collection. Once you have crossed everything off your shopping list, you can stay at the Shoppes and take in a movie at Branson Meadows Cinema.

Tanger Outlets

The place to find a majority of the outlet stores in Branson is Tanger Outlets off Highway 76. During the holiday season, Tanger will have special hours on Fridays and Saturdays where they open at 9 a.m. and do not close until 10 p.m. On Sundays, the stores are open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday through Thursday the operating hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. On Christmas Eve, Tanger will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in case you need to pick up one last gift. Some of the more popular stores to find great holiday deals include Under Armour, Nike, Coach and Vera Bradley. While you are there, you can also purchase a Tanger Coupon Book for $5 that includes discounts and coupons to a number of stores at Tanger.

Visitors come to Branson for the shows and attractions but stay for the shopping. There are plenty of places around the Ozarks to cross more than a few holiday items off your shopping list, and the above list includes some of the best. So when you start planning your next trip to Branson, be sure to set aside some time for a Christmas shopping spree.
