Summer is one of the best times to be in Branson, especially if it’s around a holiday. July 4 is a great time to experience one of the most patriotic cities in America. Check out the list of festivities happening in and around Branson.

Kimberling City’s 30th Annual Fireburst will be held Saturday, July 1. This fireworks display can be seen over Table Rock Lake, near the Kimberling City Bridge.

Branson Landing will be hosting the 10th Annual Liberty Light Up Celebration starting at 7 p.m. on July 3. The event will include a concert featuring Jason Pritchett and the Steel Horses, followed by a fireworks show over Lake Taneycomo. Also on July 4, the 17th Annual Firecracker 5000 will take place at the Branson Landing. Sign up to run the one mile, 5K or 10K by visiting

Another unique way to see Branson Landing’s Liberty Light Up is from the Sky Deck. When you purchase tickets to the Fire in the Sky, you get a ride on Parakeet Pete’s Waterfront Zipline across the lake to the Sky Deck. Once on the deck you have access to comfortable seating, perfect views of Branson Landing, food, a cash bar and live entertainment. This event requires advance tickets for seating and can be purchased by visiting

Main Street Lake Cruises will be offering a Fireworks Cruise. Watch the Liberty Light Up Celebration on the 3rd or Rockaway Beach’s 52nd Annual Rockin’ 4th of July Celebration from one of the beautiful cruise boats offered at the marina. These are popular cruises and will sell out fast so be sure to book your cruise soon by calling 417-239-3980.

The Chateau on the Lake Independence Day festivities will be held on July 2, with an outdoor BBQ complete with live music and fireworks over Table Rock Lake. To view the fireworks you can park your car near the area. If you prefer to partake in all the festivities, you can make reservations by calling 888-333-5253.

Enjoy dinner overlooking the lake at Top of the Rock, then stick around to watch the spectacular fireworks show over Table Rock Lake.

The city of Hollister will be having their 64th Annual 4th of July Celebration beginning at 6 p.m. on Independence Day. The festivities will take place at Chad A. Fuqua Memorial Park.

The city of Rockaway Beach will be hosting the 52nd Annual Rockin’ 4th of July Celebration. The festivities will include a centennial car and bike show on July 1 complete with craft booths, food trucks and games. The celebration will last through July 4, with the finale being a fireworks display over Lake Taneycomo.

The “It” Show at the Hughes Brothers Theatre will be having an Independence Day celebration at their 1 p.m. show on July 4. Enjoy a picnic and games before the 3 p.m. show and then head off to watch one of the many firework displays in town.

Independence Day is a great time to celebrate with your family and friends. Whether you choose to spend the day at the lake or at a show, Branson will not disappoint.
